In August, we're gathering at an important Chicago institution: Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar. In addition to great drinks and atmosphere, this establishment boasts a fascinating and important Chicago story. It is a family-owned business, pioneered by Maria Marszewski, "the Duchess of Bridgeport" and a Korean-born immigrant to the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago.
