Join the Chicago Club for a visit to the National Museum of Mexican Art's annual Day of the Dead celebration at Harrison Park in Pilsen. Every year, the Museum celebrates Día de los Muertos by transforming the Museum and its surroundings into a beautiful space to remember our departed loved ones. Día de los Muertos is a time to honor loved ones who no longer walk this Earth. With flowers, food, and drinks, we await the joyful return of their souls.

On this special day at the Museum, guests can enjoy ofrendas created by community members, live musical performances, and art activities. At dusk, guests are welcomed to observe the illuminated ofrenda projecting the dearly departed larger than life. Bring your family and learn about this time-honored Mexican tradition.

Please RSVP so that we know when you plan to attend and can ease finding each other amid the crowds. This is a family-friendly festival - little ones and even some pets are welcome in the outdoor spaces!

As always, all are welcome at Bryn Mawr Alumnae/i Club of Chicago events! All shapes, sizes, forms, genders, identities, personalities, and so on who are respectful of and part of our Bryn Mawr community are welcome to join us!
