Last year, Alumnae/i Relations and Development, in partnership with alumnae/i volunteers, established a collective alumnae/i reading initiative to have open and purposeful alumnae/i conversations about the advancement of antiracism at Bryn Mawr and beyond. The book selection for 2023-24 is The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee. There will be a virtual discussion about the book on Thursday, March 14 at 7 PM led by committee member and former Mayor of Minneapolis Betsy Hodges '91. In addition to the book discussion, Alumnae/i Relations and Development will be hosting regional and virtual events throughout March and April, including the International Forum on March 1 and 8 as well as Student Excellence Events.

This presentation will look at differences in how medications are absorbed, distributed and metabolized (known as pharmacokinetics) across ethnoracial groups. In addition, we'll discuss the differences in how groups view the value of psychotropic medication including medication adherence.
