The Bryn Mawr Club of New York City 2025 Evelyn Barish ’56 Poetry Contest For a fourth year, New York alumna Evelyn Barish ’56 is sponsoring a poetry prize to be awarded by the Bryn Mawr Club of New York City to a Bryn Mawr alum. This year’s topic is hope for the earth. The poem should be submitted in traditional haiku format: three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second line, and five syllables in the third line.

The 93rd annual Bryn Mawr Wellesley Book Sale will be held March 12-16 at Stuart Country Day School, 1200 Stuart Road, in Princeton, NJ. Over 60,000 books in excellent condition, sorted into categories from Anthropology to World History, will be on sale. Prices for most hardbacks are $4.
