This year, we’re celebrating May Day at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont. Ardenwood is a working historic (1890-1930) farm that includes farm crafts, farm animals, historic buildings and grounds, and some drop-in crafts activities for visitors. We’ll get together for a potluck picnic, while Mawrtyrs are free to explore the farm grounds and activities.

Our May Day is a potluck picnic – please bring food to share with 8 - 10 people. The club will provide paper goods and bottled water.
Last name A-E: appetizers, F-J: side dishes, K-R: main dishes, S-Z: dessert.
Please register for this event by May 10.
Due to picnic area capacity, ATTENDANCE LIMITED TO 55 PEOPLE.

ADMISSION & CLUB DONATION:
- Admission fees are listed on the Ardenwood web site. Admission fees are payable directly to Ardenwood upon entry.
- Donation to Bryn Mawr Club of Northern California to cover costs of supplies and picnic area reservations: $5 per person or $10 per couple/family. Cash, check, or Venmo accepted. (Sorry, no Zelle or credit cards.)
MOBILITY & ADA:
- From the Ardenwood web site, “The majority of facilities in Ardenwood are wheelchair accessible...Most of the roads are paved and there are no significant grade changes.”
- Only leashed, registered service animals are permitted at Ardenwood.
TRANSIT, CARPOOLS, SITE MAP:
- Public transit access via BART & bus transfer – see Ardenwood web site for details.
- We are organizing carpools for attendees who need a ride or can offer a ride (see registration form). Please note that it is up to the drivers and passengers to work out with each other any issues of sharing driving expenses (i.e., gas, tolls, etc.)
- To find the E-I-O Picnic area and other sites around the farm, please download Ardenwood’s site map from the farm’s web site. We are not permitted to put up signs or banners.
