Unity is an annual trip for students involved in BIPOC programming to build intercultural community, honor each other's stories, and reflect on the ways our histories intersect. This year's theme will focus on Black History and African Immigrants.
Students and alumnae/i together will explore and celebrate Black history throughout the storied neighborhoods of D.C.
- Alumnae/i that live in the D.C. area are encouraged to attend.
- Alumnae/i are responsible for their own transportation to D.C. and to the individual activities.
- Anyone participating in the walking tour needs to be comfortable standing/walking for approx. 90 mins.
- If accessibility is a concern, participants are advised to attend museum visits since they are all ADA compliant.
To register for the Unity Trip, please select this option to confirm your attendance. Then, choose the events you would like to attend. Registration is free and the alumnae/i dinner is an additional $35.
As space is limited, we encourage you to register at your earliest convenience to secure your spot.
