7:30 - 9:30 PM ET
Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church
419 S 6th St.
Philadelphia, PA 19147
Join us for a special evening with award-winning journalist and CNN anchor Abby Phillip as she celebrates the release of her new book, A Dream Deferred: Jesse Jackson and the Fight for Black Political Power. Abby will be joined in conversation by CNN commentator and bestselling author Bakari Sellers for a dynamic discussion about Jesse Jackson’s legacy and his historic presidential run in the 1980s.
Tapestry members are invited to attend together as a group. Space is limited, so we encourage you to purchase your ticket by October 30, or as early as possible. Please note that Bryn Mawr College is not responsible for ticket sales for this event; attendees are responsible for securing their own tickets in advance.
There will be signed copies of A Dream Deferred for those who wish to purchase. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with Tapestry and be part of an unforgettable evening in Philadelphia!
We will meet in front of the church at 7:15 PM and find seating together as a group.
