Fall is one of the most exciting times on campus, and this fall brings so much to celebrate with the inauguration of Bryn Mawr’s 10th president, Wendy Cadge. I have had the honor to work with a number of Bryn Mawr presidents and look forward to supporting and partnering with Wendy as she joins our Bryn Mawr family. As Alumnae Association President, a Trustee, and a dedicated volunteer, I want to be a part of building and supporting a better, bolder, and more equitable future for Bryn Mawr students and alums, holding space for stories and continuing to make visible the many different versions of Bryn Mawr.
A critical way to do this is through support of The Bryn Mawr Fund, which helps to meet the full cost of faculty and academic programming, fund student financial aid, and provide vital support for unanticipated expenses that arise. The collective impact of our donors has helped to fund the most important needs of the College and its students. I hope you will join me in supporting your Bryn Mawr and making a gift to the College.
When I think about the Bryn Mawr community, I keep coming back to words like “home,” “friends,” and “grateful.” Now, more than twenty-five years out from my graduation, my connection with the College continues to expand and grow. I am thankful to discover new and impactful ways Bryn Mawr shows up in my life and work, as well as to hear how it shows up in your life and work. Each new point of connection shows me how people engage with the College and the richness that comes from our different life stories.
