International Forum Registration Is Open!
We are excited to bring together our vibrant global community for the 2024 International Forum, offered again in a live-streamed, online format. The Forum will be held in two parts on Friday, March 1 and Friday, March 8, 2024 on the theme of global learning and education, featuring alumnae/i, faculty, and students, along with remarks by President Kim Cassidy. In addition to the International Forum, Alumnae/i Relations and Development will be hosting regional and virtual events throughout February and March, including Student Excellence Events and an Alumnae/i Book Discussion of The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee led by former Mayor of Minneapolis Betsy Hodges '91. September 12 - 23, 2024 Jewels of the Java Sea: An Exploration between Bali and Singapore
Indonesia is made up of over 17,000 islands- discover some of the more remote and less traveled jewels of the Java Sea. Cruise through the remnants of Krakatoa and view the volcano's "children", who have appeared since 1883. Snorkel and dive amongst vibrant coral gardens; kayak in secluded bays with hundreds of fish teeming below; engage with local villagers and learn about their daily lives.
October 19 - November 9, 2024 Exploring Australia and New Zealand
Begin the touring in cosmopolitan Sydney with a three-night stay. Continue to the storied Outback with a two-night stay at Ayers Rock. From there, continue to tropical Cairns- this is your gateway for a full-day excursion out to the Great Barrier Reef. In New Zealand, begin on the south island where you'll tour Christchurch and spend two days in Mt. Cook National Park. After, cruise stunning Milford Sound and discover New Zealand's "adventure capital" Queenstown. Experience Maori cultural in geothermal Rotorua before the tour concludes in Auckland.
